About Me

063Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and learn a little about me.

I went to the University of Central Florida in my hometown Orlando, FL for my undergraduate education.  There I received my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a minor in Biology and an Associate degree in Psychology.

I then moved to Southern California where I earned my Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences.  I am currently practicing in Orange County, CA.

My mission and passion is to educate the world on the importance of comprehensive eye exams at all ages, regardless of vision problems. I believe that education is the key to prevention and I created this platform for exactly that reason.

My internships at Western University include:

  • Pediatric
  • Vision Therapy
  • Neuro-Optometric Rehab
  • Low Vision
  • Contact Lens
  • Geriatric

My externships include:

  • Pediatric, Vision Therapy and Neuro-optometric Rehab at the Eye Care Clinic
  • Primary care at Focus Vision Optometry
  • Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Veteran Affairs Outpatient Clinic
  • Specialty Contact Lens at Phelan Family Eye Care

I am fluent in English and Arabic and am able to do examinations in Spanish.  On my free time, I enjoy traveling around the world, hiking in new places, going to church and spending time with friends and family.

My favorite quote is: “The secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient.” By Francis Weld Peabody
